Applications

We have always aimed to keep our application process as simple as possible. Please fill in our application form here and we will assign you an LSP student ID. After this, depending on the course you have applied for, you may be required to provide further information to support your application.

Diploma

All new Diploma students are required to attend an interview and will also need to answer some additional questions to support their application. There is a fixed fee of £50 to cover the cost of processing your application.

Do I qualify?

Here are some helpful questions to consider:

• Are you a graduate in a related discipline, e.g. drama, visual art, theatre, performance, creative therapy, education?
• Have you gained some experience as a self-taught solo puppeteer?
• or perhaps very occasionally you are a complete but talented beginner?
• You are computer literate?
• You have a good command of the English language?
• You are able to work alone and are strongly self-motivated?

We assess every student on their own merits and pride ourselves on our selection process. If you are passionate about puppetry, no matter what your background, we would love to meet you.

Open courses

These courses are designed to be completly open, as such there is no interview requirement or application fee. Once you have applied via the application form, you will be contacted by our applications team to book you on the specific open course you are interested in.
