Evening Xtras

These are short courses designed to cover a whole range of different types and applications of puppetry. They are fun, but with serious intent, and are not too arduous to follow a day at work. What is exciting about these courses?  You will find a balance of traditional techniques, influenced by LSP contact with Yuki Muramatsu the Japanese puppeteer and LSP graduate.  Otome puppetry and paper theatre feature in the classes.  Puppetry and forum theatre has been explored by Jean Hammond, puppeteer, nurse and community health worker.  Caroline Astell-Burt has been awarded an Arts and Humanities Research Council grant to write about the body of the puppeteer and techniques of operating puppets.
