LSP return from Copenhagen Puppet Festival!

The Copenhagen Puppet Festival ran for a second time this year and thanks to the organisers of the festival and supporters in Yorkshire, students from the London School of Puppetry were able to enjoy an exciting week of performing, seeing shows, attending puppetry seminars and collaborating with a Polish Puppetry School (Ludwik Solski Statsskole for Drama in Krakow, Wroclaw).

LSP and the Polish School performed for 'Natscenen' (Night Scene), a series of free cabaret night perfomances to showcase work from both schools and worked together on group pieces to perform at the 'Crash Test' night on the final day of the festival. Director of Studies, Caroline Astell-Burt introduced the LSP and gave a seminar with Ann Campion on puppetry in education and therapy.

Last but not least the students enjoyed siteseeing in Copenhagen; wandering around the city visiting historic landmarks, beautiful gardens and of course the award winning bakeries!
