We provide a range of courses to cater to the needs of every student; designed specifically with flexibility in mind the London School of Puppetry allows you to take your course the way that suits you best providing a variety of options to help with the financial and time pressures that many students may face.

Diploma in Professional Puppetry

The Diploma in Professional Puppetry (DiPP)is awarded on completion of six modules each covering the key puppetry disciplines including cross-arts, interdisciplinary studies and the business of puppetry. The course is designed to allow you to explore the multiple facets of puppetry as a performance art medium applying this to your professional lives, helping you form your unique professional outlook.

There are four ways you can take the diploma each designed to cater to a different group of students; we will work with you to find a solution that fits you best.

Open Courses

Open Courses are a general programme open to all adults and offer new and innovative possibilities for puppetry in a variety of contexts. Our playtimes, summer schools and workshops give anyone an easy way to experience what it means to study with the LSP. There are many of these courses run throughout the year.

Teacher Training

Teacher Training is a crucial high level course offering an education for those wishing to design and deliver a puppetry curriculum at all levels including higher education. Taking their teaching of puppetry beyond the occasional workshop and giving them a practical vision for puppetry education.
